Picnic with Paddington

Families can grab a Picnic with Paddington Basket to take into the Museum grounds. Two baskets will be available, and inside there will be a blanket, bears, bear-themed story books and a children’s tea set. Paddington Bear by Michael Bond will feature in the basket and a simple information sheet, explaining how Paddington can be seen as an ‘early pioneer of racial equality’, will also be included.

Families can enjoy relaxed time together, surrounded by nature, making connections to the Bear Trail across North Lincolnshire and exploring conversations around what it means to belong.
