Who is responsible for your data?
North Lincolnshire Council is the data controller for the Healthy Me Programme.
Indigo Multimedia Ltd are a data processor, providing the digital platform and storing data on our behalf.
What information do we collect?
We collect information related to your organisation, such as:
- Job title, contact telephone number and work email address
- Evidence you provide as part of the Healthy Me Awards Framework
We do not require information that identifies pupils, families, or other individuals. If you include such information, you must ensure you have gained consent for its use and remove names or identifying details wherever possible.
Why do we use your information? (Lawful basis for processing)
We use your data to:
- Create secure login credentials for the Healthy Me Digital Platform and Development Wheel (Create Development Ltd).
- Provide programme newsletters
- Administering training bookings
- Provide support to your organisation from the Public Health Team
- Evaluate and improve the Healthy Me Programme
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are:
- Public task (Article 6(1)(e)) – carrying out tasks in the public interest to promote health and wellbeing
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) – where appropriate, to administer and improve the programme
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) – where identifiable personal information (e.g. photos, testimonials) is included with permission
How will your information be used and shared?
- The email address provided on registration will be shared with Create Development Ltd, the provider of the Development Wheel accessed through the Healthy Me Digital Platform. This is shared to create an account which hosts the self-assessment tool and Awards Framework.
- Evidence you submit on the Development Wheel will only be used to assess your setting and provide support.
- Your password is unique to your organisation and must not be shared.
- Some anonymised data may be shared with partner organisations or the wider North Lincolnshire Public Health team to help understand local needs.
- We will inform you if data is to be used for any other purpose.
We do not transfer your data outside the UK.
How will the data be stored?
Your data will be stored securely by Indigo Multimedia Ltd and North Lincolnshire Council, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
How long will the data be kept?
- Your personal data is retained in accordance with national guidance and our legal obligations. In this instance we will retain your personal data whilst you are a key contact for the project and for one year after you cease to be involved.
- Any evidence submitted as part of the awards programme may be anonymised and kept for a longer period for statistical purposes.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent where this is the lawful basis for processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format (where applicable)
