Peggy's

Peggy's offers a peer support session to families living with dementia, older age and/or frailty every Saturday morning 10am-12pm. Kerry facilitates this and is able to offer guidance, support and signposting to other agencies to support families to live well throughout the progession of dementia and/or older age.  Peggy's is a relaxed and informal session, in a pleasant environment which is homely and also has outside space, and a Tovertafel magic table which can be used to maintain cognitive skills. Peggy's also offers day care Monday to Friday and attending Peggy's on a Saturday can support people living with dementia to transition to attending day care (there is a cost for this).  Peggy's is free on a Saturday and welcomes new people trying to navigate their way through the available support living with dementia.

The frist Saturday in the month we also have our own Dementia Speciliast Nurse who is available and can be booked in advance for a face to face appointment if required.
