Since its launch in 1989, Humberside Police’s Lifestyle initiative has become one of the UK’s most enduring and impactful youth engagement programmes. Over the past 36 years, more than 195,000 young people have dedicated their summer holidays to improving lives and strengthening communities across the region.

Collectively, these inspiring individuals have contributed over 2.5 million hours of volunteering and raised tens of thousands of pounds for charitable causes. From transforming public spaces and promoting health awareness to supporting vulnerable individuals and brightening hospital wards, Lifestyle teams consistently demonstrate extraordinary compassion, creativity, and commitment.

Young people aged 10-16, can sign up to register their teams to take on their Summer challenge at Humberside Police Lifestyle – Making a Difference and be in with the chance of winning amazing prizes!  This year the grand prize is a holiday to Paris and Disneyland!
