Interactive storytelling with Salma

10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm

Award-winning author and creative practitioner Salma Zaman will lead an interactive read-aloud storytelling session with her latest book ‘Benji and his bellowing burps’, combining storytelling, music, writing, and performance.

Create short stories, poems, or illustrations inspired by the book, then make your own music using accessible instruments, which will be recorded and played back in real time, building a live soundscape inspired by the story and your ideas.

There will also be the opportunity to read, rap, or perform your own writing to the beat.

Sessions last around one hour and are suitable for children aged 8-11 and their families

Book your free places by emailing library.enquiries@northlincs.gov.uk. Please specify which session you would like to attend and how many attendees.
