Foundations Of Calm: Introduction to Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Course

This course runs approx three times per year at varying days and times to suit the needs of the participants. Please email or phone to register your interest in a future course.

Foundations of Calm is a practical four-session course designed to help you feel calmer, more present and better able to manage everyday stress.

In a small, supportive group, you’ll learn simple mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques that can help you quieten a busy mind, respond differently to stress and build more calm into everyday life.

As one previous participant discovered: “Any mindful practice is better than not doing any. Some practices will suit people differently – focus on what works for you.”
"The biggest thing I learnt was that thoughts are just thoughts, they aren’t reality… focus on the evidence..”

No previous experience of mindfulness or meditation is needed – just come as you are and learn practical tools you can continue using long after the course ends.

It is based on the world-renouned Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course taught across the world.
