Domestic Abuse Project
Domestic Abuse Recovery Group for Parents
This therapeutic group offers a safe and supportive space for parents who have experienced domestic abuse. Combining talking therapy with nature-based activities, the group is designed to help you build confidence, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and feel more connected to yourself, your children and others.
Together, we will explore ways to understand the impact of trauma, develop coping strategies, and support healing in a welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
Who is this group for?
This group is open to parents who:
- Have experienced domestic abuse
- Are currently living in safe accommodation within North Lincolnshire
- Have children who may be showing signs of trauma or emotional distress
You do not need a formal diagnosis or referral. We simply ask that you are willing to attend the sessions, engage with the group, and explore your healing journey alongside other parents with shared experiences.
