RSE Day is a day to celebrate and promote the importance of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) in schools and educational settings. This year, it will take place on Thursday 25th June.

We invite schools and settings to register their interest where you will receive further information and updates as the event approaches and participating schools will be provided with a range of resources designed to support meaningful discussions and activities around relationships and sex education. This includes a digital toolkit and a set of RSE Day specific stickers for the whole setting.

We are also challenging schools and settings to encourage pupils to use their imagination and creativity to develop ideas and create something that promotes the values of RSE. Activities can involve the whole school community to ensure everyone takes part, or they can be tailored to smaller groups or specific year groups. Examples of what can be created but are not limited to include; posters, poems, short videos, role plays. Once completed evidence of the projects can be emailed to healthyme@northlincs.gov.uk and the most unique ideas and projects will be rewarded with vouchers. Please submit the evidence of projects by Friday 3rd of July.

RSE Day is a great opportunity to upskill children and young people with the knowledge they need to build healthy relationships, understand themselves and others, and stay safe. Whether through classroom activities, assemblies, or creative projects, your setting can play an important role in making this day impactful and memorable.

Join us and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all learners.
