Courageous Conversations Training - tackling misogynistic and extremist views

Thursday 14th May, 4pm, via teams

We are holding a session on Thursday 14th May that will be run by two qualified Secondary school teachers from Shut It Down, Amy and Joe, who have a combined 25 years' experience in teaching. This session was born from the rapidly increasing misogynistic rhetoric within schools, aiming to equip staff with practical tools and strategies to confidently handle challenging discussions, spot misogyny and signs of the 'manosphere' ideology, and support young people whilst addressing misogynistic and extremist views with care and clarity.

The session will run for approximately 60-70 minutes, including a 10 minute Q&A segment. It is designed for all staff working with pupils from a Year 5 level and above.
