Join UCNL in this artistic celebration during Interfaith Week 8th-15th November 2026 and be a part of an incredible journey of creativity and unity. Enter their captivating art competition and explore the theme: Lighting the Way for Shared Understanding (Your artwork should reflect different faiths in a respectful and creative way)
Who can enter?
All children and young people aged 18 and under are invited to participate. Absolutely no cost to participate! But only one entry per person is allowed.
Age categories:
Express yourself in your chosen age group:
• 5-7 years
• 8-10 years
• 11-13 years
• 14-16 years
• 17-18 years
Submission details:
Send in your masterpiece before Wednesday 21st October 2026. Ensure your entry includes:
• Full name
• Age and entry category
• Name of school/college
Where to submit:
Mail or drop off your creative artwork at the University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) located at Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1BU.
Art on display:
See your creations come to life! All artwork will be showcased to the public at North Lincolnshire Museum, Oswald Road from Monday 26th October 2026.
Be a winner:
We’ll unveil the brilliant minds behind the winning masterpieces at the Lighting the Way for a Shared Future event Monday 9th November at St
George’s Church Crosby 5pm and 7pm.
Exciting prizes await:
Winners in each age group will receive an art set that will inspire future creations. Every entrant will receive a certificate of participation as a token of appreciation.
